Prescher Willette Seeds formally
known as Willette Seed Farm was
established in 1933 by Don Willette. Now run by Chuck and Damian
Prescher, the labor force includes long time employees Pat, Mike, Bart, Rick and Sue.
The operation includes full scale farming with year around seed processing,
wholesaling, retailing, exporting, and marketing for seed and food use.
We will be publishing a price list with
descriptive data on our farm seeds. Add your name to our mailing list.
We will accept orders by phone, fax, and
e-mail. All orders will be
confirmed by return mail, and will show the cash and volume discounts that were
established.
Round-up ready and other GMO products are not accepted by everybody.
Therefore, we are maintaining a selection of non-GMO seeds that give the customer a
choice.
Varieties we sell for seed are often in demand for Tofu, Sprouting, etc. We
have experience from a number of years and with many customers for these
varieties. We ship pallets and containers of bags and bulk bags. All conventional soybeans are within Minnesota Crop
Improvement Association (MCIA) recognized tolerances for non GMO status.
Yearly, the Minnesota Crop Improvement Association inspects and approves our
cleaning plant. This assurance of our quality control has been on-going for over
30 years.
The variety details are on our price sheet. We have three types of oats
that are ready to go: feed oats, cover crop oats and Certified Morton. All oats
are bagged in 1-1/2 bushel bags. Both Oxen and Granger Spring Wheat are available.
Established in 1933, Willette Seed Farm has over seventy years of
experience in seed production. We work
to have a product of which we are proud. Our seeds are analyzed and tested
by the Biodiagnostics Inc. Our modern plant
equipment includes a Clipper Air/Screen Cleaner, Amos Spiral Separator and Lime Gravity Table. We are also able to treat soybeans wit our new Gustafson Drum Treater.
